The revenues of the charitable bazaar go to civil associations that care for orphans, people with disabilities, elderly women and widows in Aleppo city , in addition to the participation of small business owners from various provinces.

The bazaar was opened with drawings and messages for children from Aleppo, in which they expressed their hopes for the future, and a lyrical paragraph presented by opera singer Somaya al-Hallaq.

President al-Assad receives Abdollahian… talks deal with relations and latest developments Sat, 09 Oct 2021 15:47:03 +0000 Damascus, SANA- President Bashar al-Assad received on Saturday Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian and the accompanying delegation.

During the meeting, discussions touched on the strategic relations between the two countries, and the joint efforts to bolster them by establishing executive work programs to develop and expand areas of cooperation in all fields, which serve the interest of the two friendly peoples, especially in the economic and the commercial domains.

The two sides discussed field developments in Syria with President al-Assad stressing the importance of continuing the liberation of all territory from terrorism and end any illegitimate presence in the country.

The talks tackled the latest regional and international developments with both sides affirming the necessity of continuing consultation and coordination in the political field, particularity as the visions and the close policies of the two countries regarding challenges in the region have proven effectiveness and correctness.

Talks also dealt with the situation in Afghanistan and its impacts on countries of the region as President al-Assad considered that the withdrawal of the US should be an opportunity for the neighboring countries to crystalize a common vision in order to consolidate civil peace there and to not transform that country into a terrorist spot, and avoid any foreign interventions which attempt to exploit the conditions of withdrawal in order to impose their agendas.

The Iranian Minister briefed President al-Assad on the developments of the Iranian nuclear file, and the Iranian government’s endeavors to achieve the sustainable development and cooperation with its neighboring countries to deactivate the blockade and sanctions imposed on the Iranian people.

Mikdad : Syria supports Iran, condemns US practices against it Sat, 09 Oct 2021 14:45:51 +0000 Damascus, SANA- Iranian Foreign Minister Hussein Amir Abdullahian and an accompanying delegation arrived on Saturday at Damascus International Airport.

Foreign and Expatriates Minister Faysal Mikdad received the Iranian delegation upon its arrival.

In a statement to Journalists, Mikdak described the visit of the Iranian delegation as “important”, noting that Syria supports the effort exerted by the Iranian Leadership in regard to the nuclear file, adding that Syria strongly condemns all US practices that seek to manipulate this file and other files in the region.

For his part, The Iranian Minister expressed in a similar statement, his country’s keenness on the strategic relations with Syria.

Abdullahian stressed that Iran will remain firmly by Syria’s side, as it stood by its side in facing the terrorist war against it.

The citizens of Golan stressed rejection of holding a provocative meeting on their land next Monday to expand the settlement operations of the Israeli occupation, describing the meeting as null and void in form and content, as well as the other arbitrary measures that the occupation is trying to impose.

Speaking to SANA reporter, Hael Masoud , a citizen from Golan said that the aggressive practices of the occupation aimed at displacing the people of Golan from their land, affirming that the steadfastness of the people has foiled the expansionist settlement policies of the occupation.

A civilian injured in terrorist shelling attack on Hama countryside Sat, 09 Oct 2021 12:26:03 +0000 Hama, SANA- A civilian was injured when Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists targeted with shells al-Barakah village in Hama countryside.

A source at Hama Police Command told SANA reporter that Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists positioned in Idleb southwestern countryside fired a number of rocket shells on al-Barakah village in al-Ziyarah area in the far western countryside of Hama, injuring an 80- year-old man, and causing material damage to the locals’ houses, their properties, and the infrastructure of the village.

The injured was hospitalized to As Suqaylabiyah National Hospital to receive treatment, the source added.

On September 1st , a girl child was martyred , and seven others were injured as a result of terrorist shelling attack on Jourin village in Hama northwestern countryside.

Arab Tribes and Clans condemn QSD militia aggression on civilians in Hasaka countryside Sat, 09 Oct 2021 10:39:43 +0000 Hasaka, SANA- Syrian Tribes and Clans in Hasaka province condemned the US occupation-linked QSD militia’s blatant aggressions as a “violation of all ethical and humanitarian standards” through exploiting the support of the US occupier? to attack the locals of the region, and infringe on the public properties and use military force against them.

The Arab clans condemned, in a statement to SANA, the flagrant, non-ethical, and unacceptable use of military force against the locals who confronted the terrorists’ attempts to infringe on the public properties in the villages affiliated to Tal Barak district in Hasaka northern countryside.

They expressed support to the locals in Tal Barak area in facing those who tried to attack the public properties, asserting that preserving them is considered as “a national and ethical duty.”

The statement stressed that the choice of popular resistance is the only way to preserve the dignity of the homeland and its honorable citizens.

The US-backed QSD militia opened fire on the unarmed locals in the villages affiliated to Tal Barak area in Hasaka northern countryside while they were attempting to prevent the gunmen of the militia from stealing the electric transformer which feeds the villages and residential blocks in the area, causing the martyrdom of a civilian and the injury of 16 others.

]]> Operations of settling status of gunmen move to eastern and southeastern countryside in Daraa province Sat, 09 Oct 2021 08:45:47 +0000 Daraa, SANA- Operations of setting the status of gunmen, the wanted and the military deserters and handing over their weapons to the Syrian Arab Army, based on the settlement agreement proposed by the State last August, started in Nasib village near the Jordanian borders in Daraa province.

SANA reporter said Saturday that a number of gunmen, the wanted and the military deserters gathered at the settlement center that was opened today in Nasib village, southeast of Daraa city, to have their status settled and hand over their weapons to the Syrian Arab Army in implementation of the settlement agreement proposed by the State.

Daraa province has witnessed during the last days similar settling operations ?starting from Daraa al-Balad neighborhood in the city and al-Yadoudeh village and Mzairib town, then in Tafas city, ?Tal Shahab town and the villages and towns of al-Yarmouk Basin in the northwestern countryside, and in the cities of Nawa , Jasem and al-Sanamin and their vicinity in the northern countryside, in parallel with the redeployment of units of the Syrian Arab army in the region to maintain security and stability and the return of normal life to the area.

Temperatures continue to rise, clear skies Sat, 09 Oct 2021 08:15:00 +0000 Damascus, SANA- Temperatures continues to gradually rise to become from 3 to 4 degrees above average in most areas, as the country is affected by a superficial low air pressure coming from the southeastern direction accompanied by a high air pressure in the upper layers of the atmosphere.

The Meteorology Department, in its Saturday bulletin, expected that the skies will be clear in general and some scattered clouds are expected to appear.

The winds will be western to northwestern in the coastal region and al-Jazeera between low to moderate in speed, while they will be eastern to northeastern of low speed in the rest of areas, while the sea waves will be low in amplitude.

The expected temperatures in some main Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 30/17, Homs 33/14, Lattakia 30/18, Aleppo 31/16, Hasaka 33/19 and Deir Ezzor 33/18.

New Syrian non-resident ambassador plenipotentiary and extraordinary to Nicaragua Sat, 09 Oct 2021 07:49:25 +0000 New York, SANA- Syria’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations Bassam Sabbagh?presented a copy of his credentials to Nicaragua Foreign Minister Denis Moncada Colindres, as non-resident ambassador plenipotentiary and extraordinary to the Syrian Arab Republic in Nicaragua.

During the ceremony, which was held via video, Ambassador Sabbagh conveyed President Bashar al-Assad’s greetings to President of Nicaragua Daniel Ortega.

Sabbagh stressed the deep-rooted historical ties linking the two friendly countries and their aspiration to upgrade the relations of cooperation and enhancing them in various domains.

He appreciated the standing coordinating between the two countries in the international forums that empowered them to stand together and confront the western pressures on both countries.

For his part, Colindres conveyed President Ortega’s best greetings to President Bashar al-Assad and the Syrian people, reiterating that President Ortega and the government of Nicaragua will continue to strengthen the historical relations between the two countries and defend the interests of the two countries against the western imperialistic aggression.

The Nicaraguan diplomat stressed that his country highly appreciated the Syrian people’s struggle in defending the sovereignty and stability of their homeland and its right to prosperity.

Terrorist groups carry out 5 attacks in de-escalation zone of Idleb Sat, 09 Oct 2021 07:39:27 +0000 Moscow, SANA-Russian Defense Ministry announced Saturday that terrorist organizations, deployed in the de-escalation zone of Idleb, carried out 5 attacks during the past 24 hours.

“Five attacks have been observed from regions where Jabhat al-Nusra- linked terrorist groups are deployed, 3 of them in Idleb and 2 in Aleppo,” Russian Coordination Center in Hmeimem said in a statement.
